Job summary

Zales, part of Signet Jewelers, is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in daily operations, drive sales, protect brand standards and motivate the team.

You will help develop staff through training and evaluation, recruit new team members, and uphold company policies while delivering an outstanding customer experience. Signet Jewelers offers training, internal advancement, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• At least one year of retail experience is required, preferably with a jeweler or specialty retailer.
• Knowledge of operating POS terminals and scanners, using basic computer software and hardware.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagram, and schedule form.
• Availability to work days, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager in maintaining daily focus on standards to attain sales and profit projections.
• Contribute to an atmosphere of total customer satisfaction and develop team members through training and evaluation.
• Recruitment and selection of team members; enforce all Company policies and procedures.
• Promote from within and provide a superior customer experience.
