Applegreen USA in Maine is seeking an Assistant Store Manager for a 7-Eleven location. You will lead store operations, deliver superb customer service, manage cash handling, inventory, and staff scheduling to ensure a clean, welcoming shopping experience.

You will recruit and train team members, build strong vendor relations, monitor sales and profitability, and use store reports to drive improvements. This fast-paced role requires flexibility, reliability, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of retail experience.
• Demonstrated leadership and customer service skills.
• Proven success developing team members.
• Ability to use store reports to drive changes.
• Strong communication, written and verbal.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Retail/Food Service experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, efficient, and courteous customer service.
• Maintain a clean, customer-friendly environment in the store.
• Ring customer sales on an electronic cash register and handle cash accurately.
• Receive cash and give correct change.
• Perform regular cleaning tasks and other duties as assigned.
• Ensure staffing levels are sufficient and schedules are managed.
• Recruit, train and develop staff.
• Develop strong vendor relations and merchandise store.
• Maintain proper inventory levels and merchandising.
• Promote Applegreen and 7-Eleven to guests and the community.
• Maximize sales and profits and identify obstacles.
• Use store reports to drive positive changes.
