Job summary

Roses Discount Stor in Whitehall, OH is seeking an Assistant Manager/Key Carrier to support daily store operations and deliver excellent customer service. You will assist with hiring, training, and supervising store staff and help the Store Manager meet company goals.

This role requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work a flexible full- or part-time schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and maintain a professional environment with customers and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Assist with hiring, training and development of store team members as delegated by the Store Manager.
• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities as directed by the Store Manager.
• Open and close procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Assist in protecting and securing all company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to policies and safety guidelines.
• Maintain a professional environment with customers, subordinates, and supervisors.
• Maintain stockroom and sales floor to company standards, including recovery.
• Direct supervisory responsibility for hourly Team Members when Store Manager is not on the premises.
• Process SSC Corporate directives.
• Assist with receipt and return of DSD merchandise.
• Manage freight flow and ensure productivity standards.
• Assist with ordering and stocking merchandise.
• Maintain stockroom organization and ensure sales floor is sales effective daily.
• Plan and implement directives in the Store Operations Weekly Bulletin.

Summary
As a Roses/Roses Express Assistant Manager/Key Carrier you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to our customers and supporting the Store Manager with the overall operation of the store to achieve company deliverables.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist with the hiring, training and development of store team members as delegated by the Store Manager
