Job summary

Roses Express is seeking an Assistant Manager/Key Carrier to support store operations and provide excellent customer service in Millen, GA. You will assist the Store Manager with daily tasks, staff development, and safeguarding assets.

The role requires the ability to lead a team, maintain store standards, and execute store directives while delivering a welcoming shopping environment for customers.

Qualifications

• Prefer prior retail and management experience.
• Effective communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to lift, bend and transport merchandise weighing up to 50lbs; able to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist with hiring, training and development of store team members as delegated by the Store Manager
• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities as directed by the Store Manager
• Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager
• Assist the Store Manager in protecting and securing all company assets, including store cash
• Adhere to policies and safety guidelines
• Maintain a professional and friendly environment with customers, subordinates, and supervisors
• Maintain all areas of the store to company standards including stockroom and sales floor
• Direct supervisory responsibility for hourly Team Members when Store Manager is absent
• Process SSC Corporate directives
• Assist in receipt and return of DSD merchandise and freight flow
• Meet or exceed productivity standards
• Assist in ordering and stocking merchandise and maintaining stockroom organization
• Ensure the sales floor is sales effective daily
• Implement directives from Store Operations Weekly Bulletin

Roses/Roses Express is seeking motivated individuals to support our Stores as we provide essential products at great values to the communities we serve. Summary As a Roses/Roses Express Assistant Manager/Key Carrier you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to our customers and supporting the Store Manager with the overall operation of the store to achieve company deliverables.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist with the hiring, training and development of store team members as delegated by the Store Manager
• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day store activities as directed by the Store Manager
