Job summary

Roses Discount Stor in Little Rock, AR is seeking an Assistant Manager/Key Carrier to deliver exceptional customer service and support the Store Manager in all store operations.

You will help hire/train staff, supervise hourly team members, and ensure safe, efficient store performance while maintaining strong loss prevention and merchandising standards. This role requires flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist with hiring, training and development of store team members as delegated by the Store Manager.
• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day store activities as directed by the Store Manager.
• Open/close procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Protect and secure company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to policies and safety guidelines.
• Maintain a professional and friendly environment with customers and staff.
• Maintain stockroom and sales floor to company standards including recovery.
• Direct supervision of hourly Team Members when the Store Manager is not present.
• Process all SSC Corporate directives.
• Assist with receipt/return of DSD merchandise and freight flow.
• Meet or exceed productivity standards.
• Assist with ordering and stocking merchandise and maintaining stockroom organization.
• Ensure the sales floor is sales-effective daily.
• Follow directives in the Store Operations Weekly Bulletin.

Summary

As a Roses/Roses Express Assistant Manager/Key Carrier you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to our customers and supporting the Store Manager with the overall operation of the store to achieve company deliverables.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist with the hiring, training and development of store team members as delegated by the Store Manager
• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day store activities as directed by the Store Manager
• Able to perform all opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager
• Assist the Store Manager in protecting and securing all company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to all policies and procedures including safety guidelines.
• Maintain a professional and friendly environment with customers, subordinates, and supervisors.
• Maintain all areas of the store, including the stockroom and sales floor, to company standards to include recovery.
• When the Store Manager is not on the premises, direct supervisory responsibility for all hourly Team Members.
• Process all SSC Corporate directives.
• Assist the Store Manager on the receipt and return of DSD merchandise.
• Assist Store Manager in the management of freight flow.
• Meet or exceed productivity standards.
• Assist the Store Manager in ordering and stocking all merchandise needs.
• Assist the Store Manager in maintaining stockroom organization.
• Assist the Store Manager in ensuring that the sales floor is sales effective daily.
• Assist the Store Manager in planning and implementing all directives in the Store Operations Weekly Bulletin.

Qualifications
