StorageMart is hiring an Assistant Store Manager in the United States, Iowa (Waukee) to support store operations and drive sales. The role includes customer-facing duties, facility maintenance, and inter-store travel with mileage reimbursement.

The position requires hands-on, outdoor-ready engagement, with training provided for the right candidate. Competitive hourly wage and benefits are offered, including a company-sponsored retirement plan.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail sales and administrative tasks is a plus (training provided for the right candidate!).
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities to address customer needs effectively.
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
• Willingness to work outdoors and maintain the grounds as needed.
• A valid driver’s license, valid insurance, and a vehicle; mileage reimbursed for travel between stores; basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Support Store Operations: Collaborate with the Store Manager to enhance business growth and maximize sales.
• Deliver Exceptional Customer Service: Engage with customers via phone, in person, and email, ensuring they feel valued and supported.
• Maintain Our Facility: Open, operate, and close the office; light maintenance and cleaning to keep the property clean, safe, and secure.
• Manage Accounts: Handle customer accounts, assist with setup, and oversee general administrative tasks including debt management.
• Travel Between Locations: Occasionally support other stores while maintaining our standards across sites.
