Job summary

Goodwill Industries of North Florida seeks an Assistant Store Manager in Jacksonville Beach, FL to assist the Store Manager in daily operations, drive sales, and ensure excellent donor and customer service.

Responsibilities include supervising donated goods processing, coaching staff, managing cash handling and store appearances, and performing opening/closing duties in the Manager’s absence; occasional travel to other stores may be required.

Qualifications

• Perform administrative duties such as transportation needs, opening/closing, facility issue reporting, and daily deposits.
• Carry out back-store duties: organizing production area, unloading trucks, training staff, greeting donors, sorting goods, and maintaining production counts.
• Carry out front-store duties: training register procedures, processing sales, customer assistance, pulling stock to the sales floor, floor maintenance, and reporting security concerns.
• Perform other duties as assigned, including occasional travel to other stores.
