JCPenney in Ellenton, FL is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in building a high-performing team and delivering an outstanding customer experience. You will help execute store operations, maintain visual standards, and drive results.

You will lead with energy, coach associates, and model our values while remaining calm under pressure. Flexible to work evenings/weekends and occasional travel to other locations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years as a Co/Assistant Manager in a similar volume, apparel business (preferred).
• Proven track record of exceeding sales and statistical expectations.
• Flexible availability to meet the needs of the business (including evenings and weekends).
• Occasional travel to other store locations if needed.

As an Assistant Store Manager, you will support the Store Manager to build a team that delivers results through providing an amazing customer experience. You also share the responsibility to execute all store operations and maintain a visually appealing store. The Assistant Store Manager reports to the Store Manager.

As the Assistant Store Manager you will:

Qualifications

You will also have:

• 2+ years as a Co/Assistant Manager in similar volume, apparel business (preferred).
• Proven track record of exceeding sales and statistical expectations.
• Flexible availability to meet the needs of the business (including evenings and weekends).
• May require occasional travel to other store locations (if needed).

Other Requirements

• Bend, lift, open and move product and fixtures up to 50 lbs., as needed.

Pay Range USD $16.50/Hr -USD $22.75/Hr.
