Job summary

Portland Leather Goods is seeking a Retail Assistant Store Manager to be the Store Manager's go-to person in Charlotte Premium Outlets. You will lead by example, support daily operations, manage staff, and help execute events and promotions.

The ideal candidate brings a passion for customer success, strong leadership and communication skills, and comfort with POS systems. This is a full-time, on-site role with opportunity for career growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience in retail, store operations, and customer experience.
• Minimum 2 years experience in a retail managerial role.
• Familiarity with POS systems and the ability to learn new systems; Shopify experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example in providing exemplary customer service.
• Assist in organizing, planning and implementing strategy for the retail operation to run smoothly.
• Coordinate store day to day operations and ensure schedules and objectives are met.
• Support the Store Manager in hiring, mentoring, and retaining retail staff.
• Coordinate events, sales, and promotions.
