You will help inspire team members to live out the America’s Thrift mission and values, support financial and operational goals, develop people, and build expertise across sales, production, donations, loss prevention, merchandising, customer service, and store operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Collaborate with the Asset Protection team and People & Culture Business Partner to investigate incidents related to company assets, equipment, personnel, or operations and support appropriate follow-up in coordination with the Manager III and District Manager.
  • Use independent judgment to delegate daily tasks to supervisors and team members to fulfill operational requirements effectively.
  • Coordinate and verify the accuracy of deposits and currency exchanges and promptly alert management to cash, register, or operational concerns.
  • Lead and inspire a dynamic team while cultivating a supportive, accountable, and efficient work environment.

  • Champion a culture rooted in trust, employee growth, accountability, and sustained engagement through leading by example.
  • Provide coaching, counseling, and disciplinary action, when necessary, to supervisors and team members.
  • Facilitate onboarding and orientation processes and ensure required documentation is accurate and complete.
  • Use company reports to create and update sales floor layouts to maximize sales potential.
  • Manage inventory levels across merchandise categories, supporting optimal production levels and merchandise quality for revenue generation.
  • Oversee the smooth flow of donations while ensuring adherence to company standards, safety protocols, security measures, and applicable regulations.
  • Support store operations, resources, and budgets to help meet or exceed established objectives.
  • Uphold presentation and merchandising standards on the sales floor.
  • Analyze sales performance, identify improvement opportunities, and help implement strategies to drive sales and achieve targets.
  • Support the Manager III in executing promotional activities, marketing campaigns, and special events to drive traffic and sales.
  • Support the Manager III in daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash management, and staff supervision.
  • Assist with recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and training new team members as needed.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
  • Maintain high standards of visual merchandising so displays are appealing, organized, and effectively showcase merchandise.
  • Address customer and team member concerns promptly and professionally, prioritizing service and a positive workplace experience.
  • Foster a culture of consistent, outstanding service for internal and external customers, including team members, donors, shoppers, and charity partners.
  • Maintain a safe and secure environment for customers and team members by monitoring and reinforcing safety and security procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS
