Signet Jewelers Limited is hiring an Assistant Store Manager in New Jersey. You will assist the Store Manager to drive sales and profit, contribute to customer satisfaction, and develop team product knowledge through training. The role includes recruiting staff and enforcing company policies while performing operational duties.

Base pay is complemented by commission, and the team gains access to benefits and advancement opportunities within the Signet family.

Qualifications

• One+ year retail experience preferred.
• Familiarity with jewelry or specialty retail is a plus.
• Proficient in operating POS terminals and basic software/hardware.

Assistant Store Manager

• Assist the Store Manager in maintaining daily focus on individual and team members' standards achievement to attain sales and profit projections.
• Contribute to an atmosphere of total customer satisfaction.
• Develop skills and product knowledge of team members through training and evaluation.
• Recruit and select team members.
• Follow and enforce all Company policies and procedures.
• Perform other operational and strategic duties.

Job Requirements

• At least one year of retail experience is required, preferably with a jeweler or specialty retailer.
• Knowledge of operating POS terminals and scanners, using basic computer software and hardware.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagram, and schedule form.
• Availability to work days, nights and weekends.

Base pay, $16.50 – $26.30 plus commission on sales.
