Job summary

The Vitamin Shoppe is seeking an engaged Assistant Store Manager to lead a team of Health Enthusiasts and guide customers on the path to lifelong wellness. You could help foster a culture of learning and development while supporting the Store Manager.

You will drive daily sales, recruit and develop talent, and build community relationships to grow store performance. This role emphasizes integrity, accountability, and ongoing education in a fast-paced wellness retail environment.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership abilities with a focus on coaching and development.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to engage Health Enthusiasts on wellness topics.
• Experience in retail environments and driving sales performance.

Responsibilities

• Assist with recruiting and developing top talent.

• Maintain regular store maintenance, follow loss prevention standards, ensure timely processing of receipts, keep shelves full and products priced accordingly.

Qualifications

What we are looking for...

• A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of experience/instruction
• The desire to work a flexible schedule (i.e. Holidays, weekends, locations) depending on business needs
• Valid driver’s license
• 3-5 years of retail experience
• Retail management experience preferred
