Job summary

Total Wine & More is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to drive sales, lead a motivated team, and ensure exceptional customer service in a fast-paced wine and spirits environment. You will support payroll, inventory, merchandising, and vendor relations while upholding all alcohol regulations.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s or equivalent retail experience, 1–3 years in a supervisory role, and strong knowledge of POS systems. Flexible scheduling including evenings and weekends is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• 1-3 years of work experience with 2+ years in a managerial or supervisory role in retail.
• Experience leading, motivating, and developing a sales-focused team.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and deliver against key performance metrics.
• Assist in recruiting, training, and leading store team with development to enhance product knowledge and sales skills.
• Support day-to-day operations including payroll, inventory, merchandising and shrink.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and resolve issues.

About the roleAs an Assistant Store Manager, you will grow the company brand by delivering best-in-class service and bringing to life a distinctive world of adult beverages and more for our customers. You will support store operations and help build a sales and service culture to expand our customer base and maximize profitability.
