Job summary

Tommy Bahama seeks a store leadership ambassador to guide our team, deliver an exceptional guest experience, and uphold the brand's island lifestyle.

You will partner with the Store Manager to drive sales, mentor staff, and ensure merchandising and operations meet brand standards across the Seattle location.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of retail experience.
• 2+ years of management supervision experience.
• Exposure to merchandising and retail visual concepts.
• Coached and developed a team.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Create a relaxed destination – partner with the Store Manager, lead by example through motivation, support, and communication with the ultimate goal of providing an exceptional and rewarding lifestyle experience for both internal and external guests.
• Set the course – build strong sales and service relationships with guests in all aspects of store operations; consistently role model key sales and service behaviors with every team member to create an optimal guest purchase experience.
• Build the perfect oasis – cultivate a culture of selling by achieving sales plans through efficient planning, execution, business analysis, and streamlining store processes with the Store Manager.
• Onboard your crew – create a learning environment to coach and develop our Retail Team Members; promote sales and internal career growth starting with thoughtful hiring and clear performance expectations.

Essentials For Life In Paradise

• 3+ years of retail experience
• 2+ years of management team supervision experience
• Exposure to merchandising and retail visual concepts
• Coached and developed a team
• Strong leadership and organizational skills
• Natural collaborator who can analyze reports, identify opportunities, and take initiative in merchandising and presentation adjustments
• College degree in Business or a related field
• Willingness to perform other duties as required to support the business

Essential Physical Requirements

• Lift and/or move up to approximately 50 pounds frequently
• Bending, stooping, or kneeling required – frequently
• Climbing ladders occasionally
• Routine standing for duration of shift (up to 8 hours)
• Ability to work varied hours and days including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed

Rate Range

Rate Range: $20.00 or minimum wage - $35.00/hr
