NAPA in Norfolk, VA seeks an Assistant Store Manager to lead a fast-paced team serving wholesale and retail customers. You will partner with the store manager to drive sales, coach crew, and maintain daily operations.

Focus on delivering exceptional customer care, inventory accuracy, safety, and program execution, while growing customer relationships and providing a top-tier shopping experience in person and over the phone.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade courses optional.
• Experience in the automotive aftermarket, or willingness to learn all things automotive.
• Ability to lead a fast-paced team and manage store operations.
• Must be able to lift 60 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Lead a successful team, support the store manager, and manage in our fast-paced retail stores.
• Manage store operations to maximize sales, profits and customer service.
• Build, coach, train and engage crew to deliver superior levels of customer care and business results.
• Inventory protection, asset management, safety issues.
• Overall cleanliness and readiness of delivery vehicles, sales floor, stock room and outside areas.
• Drive operational and marketing programs while pursuing continuous improvements in processes and procedures.
• Grow customer relationships, answer sales/service questions, and ensure a positive experience both in-store and on the phone.
