Position Overview: As an Assistant Store Manager, you will assist the Store Manager in daily store operations, provide excellent customer service, manage inventories, and ensure store appearance. You will also supervise and train store associates, support loss prevention, and assume management responsibilities in the absence of the Store Manager.

Responsibilities include:

  • Greeting and assisting customers, resolving inquiries and concerns.
  • Maintaining a clean, well-stocked store environment.
  • Supervising, training, and developing staff.
  • Assisting with merchandise unloading, organization, and transfer.
  • Supporting ordering, record keeping, and cash handling.
  • Participating in loss prevention efforts.
  • Filling in for the Store Manager as needed.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Retail management experience preferred.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs regularly and 55 lbs occasionally, and perform physical tasks such as walking, standing, and climbing.
  • Availability for flexible full-time hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Skills in customer service, organization, communication, problem-solving, and relationship management.
