Job summary

Tommy Bahama is seeking an Island Guide to lead a store team and deliver world‑class service. In this role you will partner with the Store Manager to inspire the team, set the tone for selling and guest care, and create a relaxed destination that reflects our island lifestyle.

You will build relationships with guests, coach staff, and drive sales through effective planning, merchandising, and operational routines.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of retail experience.
• 2+ years of management or team supervision.
• Exposure to merchandising and retail visual concepts.
• Coaching and developing a team.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Ability to analyze reports and adjust merchandising and presentation.
• College degree in Business or related field.
• Willingness to perform other duties to support the business.

Responsibilities

ESSENTIALS FOR LIFE IN PARADISE

• 3+ years of retail experience
• 2+ years of management/team supervision experience
• Exposure to merchandising and retail visual concepts
• Coaching and developing a team
• Strong leadership and organizational skills
• Natural collaborator, able to analyze reports and identify opportunities to adjust merchandising and presentation
• College degree in Business or related field
• Willingness to perform other duties as required to support the business

ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Lift or move up to approximately 50 pounds frequently
• Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling
• Occasional ladder climbing
• Routine standing for duration of shift (up to 8 hours)
• Ability to work varied hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed

Rate Range: $22.00 or minimum wage‑$35.00/hr.
