EZCORP is seeking an Assistant Retail Store Manager for our EZPAWN outlets. You will oversee a team of 5–15 associates, drive revenue, and ensure excellent customer service while guiding team development and coaching. We are currently looking for a motivated and personable Assistant Retail Store Managers to assist in overseeing one of our EZPAWN/Value Pawn retail outlets. In this role, you will oversee a team of 5-15 Sales Associates (Pawnbrokers) while providing outstanding customer service and building strong ongoing relationships with customers. Job Responsibilities

As an Assistant Store Manager, you will be responsible for providing leadership, coaching, and directions to Team Members to maximize store performance.

You will also join the team working with customers to negotiate pawn and sales transactions.

1. Drive revenue and control cost to deliver budgeted operating margins
2. Complete and oversee accurate and proficient sales and loans transactions
3. Analyze reports on key business metrics and provide recommendations and necessary actions
4. Ensure personal and team standards are met for superior customer service
5. Assist with staffing and retention efforts
6. Assist with Team Member onboarding and training, ensuring both are completed per Company Guidelines, including own personal training requirements
7. Assist with ensuring Team Member engagement and turnover are in line with Company expectations
8. Provide direction, coaching, development and performance feedback to Team Members
9. Help Team Members understand how their daily goals align with Company strategic goals
10. Conduct structured 1:1s with store Team Members
11. Perform daily management responsibilities
12. Drive personal vehicle for business needs

Job Requirements

We are looking for an Assistant Store Manager who combines an engaging personality and solid leadership, coaching and mentoring skills with strong negotiation talents, and the ability to read and manage customer needs and emotions. You should also be highly organized and detail-oriented, with excellent judgment as well as strong time-management and prioritization skills. It is also important that you display excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug test
• 1+ years experience in management, supervisory, and/or customer service
• Ability to offer and describe various solutions and their benefits to the customer
• Ability to maintain a professional appearance and demeanor
• Background of accountability for meeting targets and metrics in a performance-driven environment, a plus
• Knowledge of commonly pawned items such as tools, jewelry, firearms or electronics, a plus
• Pawn experience, a plus
• Bilingual, a plus
