Job summary

Alumni Hall Stores, LLC is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Morgantown, WV to lead daily operations, motivate staff, and ensure an outstanding customer experience. Responsibilities

• Motivate the team by communicating the Alumni Hall vision.
• Set the standard for running the daily business and brand.
• Participate in productive monthly staff meetings.
• Recruit, hire, train, and develop a high energy and high performance team providing a superior customer experience.
• Coach team members in their job responsibilities to increase confidence and productivity.
• Ensure that all team members adhere to employment policies.
• Recognize performance issues and assist the Store Manager in action planning.
• Assist the Store Manager in the performance review process.
• Create a fun and exciting atmosphere for customers and employees.
• Manage merchandise receipt, processing, placement, replenishment, and markdowns.
• Maintain high standards of a clean sales floor, cash wrap, and fitting rooms.
• Open and close the store, handle deposits, and follow daily operations.
• Ensure E-commerce orders are filled per company standards quickly and efficiently.
• Strive to achieve daily, monthly, and annual sales goals.
• Strive to achieve shrink goals.
• Maintain store assets through operational standards.
• Assist in achieving UPT, ADS, and E-Mail Capture goals.
• Assist in proper scheduling practices.
