Position Summary: If you are a high energy, outgoing person who loves to help and lead others and is looking to join a leadership team that is committed to creating a great place to work and an even better shopping experience for our guests, this job is for you! Assistant Managers support the Store Manager and other team members in delivering an exceptional guest shopping experience.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the store team’s Guest Service behaviors, coaching to ensure friendly greetings and excellent service.
  • Support the Store Manager in building a strong team through training, scheduling, coaching, and fostering engagement aligned with Company values.
  • Partner with Store Manager to achieve operational excellence and meet financial goals.
  • Assist with store appearance, cleanliness, and maintenance of the coffee station, food service area, and bathrooms.
  • Oversee quality control, merchandising, safety programs, and product levels to ensure 100% in-stock rate.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Store Manager or Person in Charge in their absence.
  • Must be able to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodations.
Working Relationships:
Store team members, Store Manager, District Manager, corporate personnel, and vendors
Minimum Education:
High School or GED
Minimum Experience:
1 year retail or food experience; completion of Assistant Manager Training required
Preferred Experience:
1-2 years in retail, guest service, or restaurant leadership
Skills & Certifications:
ServSafe/Food Safety certification is a plus but not mandatory
Soft Skills:
  • Comfortable interacting with guests and team members
  • High energy and ability to multitask
  • Team-oriented and willing to help others
  • Computer skills helpful
Scheduling:
Primarily second shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Hours & Conditions:
Full-time, up to 40 hours
Travel:
5-10% for store coverage and meetings; must have own vehicle for deposits if applicable
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 40 pounds, stand/walk for 8 hours, and work in cold environments
Other:
Required attire includes hats or visors, gloves, etc.
