Job summary

Smoothie King is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Mississippi to nurture a productive team, deliver an extraordinary guest experience, and balance strategic, operational, and leadership responsibilities as the role evolves.

You will support hiring and development, monitor KPIs, manage cash, ensure food safety, uphold brand standards, and help execute local marketing and community outreach with the Store Manager to bring the best smoothies to the community.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Ability to communicate effectively with guests, team members, and the community, both orally and in writing.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Willingness to work varied hours including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager with hiring, developing, and leading the team to provide a great guest experience.
• Use operational tools to achieve operational excellence (P/L, DBR, Cash & Deposit Log, Data Central scheduling/inventory).
• Review store KPIs to identify problems and opportunities and partner with Store Manager to address them.
• Manage cash activities for the store.
• Ensure compliance with food safety guidelines in the store.
• Own and promote brand standards in alignment with Smoothie King vision.
• Drive implementation of company programs and motivate the team to meet standards.
• Assist Store Manager in developing local store marketing plans and community outreach.
• Collaborate with Store Manager to deliver great smoothies and healthy products to the community.

• Assist the Store Manager with hiring, developing, and leading the team at your store to provide a great guest experience and fulfill our mission to inspire people to live a healthy and active lifestyle.
• Use operational tools such as Profit and Loss Statement, Daily Business Review, Cash & Deposit Log, and Data Central scheduling and inventory management tools to achieve operational excellence.
• Review store environment and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to identify problems, concerns, and opportunities for improvement and partner with Store Manager to address accordingly.
• Manage cash activities for the store (daily deposits, etc.).
• Ensure compliance with food safety guidelines in your store at all times; ensure all Team Members are in compliance as well.
• Own and promote brand standards in alignment with company vision.
• Ensure store appearance and cleanliness are upheld and consistent with Smoothie King brand standards.
• Drive implementation of company programs through action planning and inspiring team to meet operational standards.
• Assist the Store Manager in developing local store marketing plans to support brand initiatives, including initiating community outreach through marketing and special events.
• Collaborate with the Store Manager to deliver the best smoothies and healthy retail products to your community.
