Position Overview: As an Assistant Store Manager, you will assist in the daily operation of the store, ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining inventory, and overseeing store appearance. Under the Store Manager's guidance, you'll also help supervise staff, manage stock, and handle administrative tasks.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Greet and assist customers positively, resolving inquiries and concerns.
  • Maintain a clean, stocked store environment.
  • Supervise, train, and develop store associates on operational practices.
  • Assist with unloading merchandise, organizing stock, and transferring stock from the stockroom.
  • Support ordering, record-keeping, payroll, scheduling, and cash handling.
  • Contribute to loss prevention efforts.
  • Take on management responsibilities in the absence of the Store Manager.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
Position Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to interpret operational directives.
  • Retail management experience preferred.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs regularly, and up to 55 lbs occasionally, and perform walking, standing, stooping, and other physical tasks.
  • Availability for flexible full-time schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Skills: Customer focus, organizational skills, communication, problem-solving, and relationship management.
