Job summary

Plato's Closet Asheville is seeking a proactive Assistant Manager to lead a team, drive sales, and deliver outstanding customer service. You will work closely with the Store Manager and Owner to uphold store standards and franchise procedures.

Previous retail and leadership experience is required. You will plan promotions, manage inventory counts, and develop staff to ensure excellent customer experiences while representing the brand professionally.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience in retail or similar environment.
• Track record of delivering excellent customer service.
• Ability to motivate and train staff toward sales targets.

The Assistant Manager role includes but is not limited to:

...working closely with the Store Manager and Owner to achieve Sales goals; learn all aspects of the buying and selling systems; work within the franchise model to do what is necessary to serve customers respectfully and complete business tasks efficiently and effectively; plan for and execute store events, promotions, and inventory counts; train, develop, and recognize staff appropriately; uphold and maintain effective franchise and store work standards, present a professional image at all times; be open to learning the business systems and growing as a professional throughout time of employment.

Previous retail and leadership experience required.
