Job summary

Chuck & Don's in Arvada, CO is seeking an Assistant Store Manager who will support the Store Manager, coach team Members, and drive guest satisfaction and sales through strong leadership and product knowledge.

You will oversee operations, inventory, merchandising, and front-end duties, lead team performance, and promote pet health and customer service. The role requires at least one year in retail and one year in a supervisory role, with evening/weekend shifts and a passion for pets.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.

• Minimum 1 year of professional retail sales experience.
• Minimum 1 year of professional managerial experience.
• Willingness to be educated about the products and services offered.
• Demonstrated ability to meet sales targets.

• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Time management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide guests with an exceptional experience.

• Perform front-end duties such as handling the cash register, bagging, replenishing merchandise, and preparing displays.
• All other assigned duties from the Store Manager and/or any member of the Retail Management Team.

Physical Demands

• Position requires a person to be both indoors and outdoors (to assist with customer carry out).

• Must be comfortable working with a wide variety of animals including small and large dogs.
• Must be able to work around pet hair and dander.

$18.00-$21.15 per hour DOE/DOQ
