Job summary

J.D. Streett & Company, Inc. is seeking a self-motivated Assistant Store Leader to join our Missouri-based stores. You will help operate shifts, lead a team, and provide top-notch customer service.

Responsibilities include managing shelves and inventory, operating registers, daily bookkeeping, and maintaining store appearance while enforcing policies. Full-time role with benefits and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Provide customers with prompt and courteous service.
• Must be able to stand for up to 8 hours at a time.
• Must be able to use a calculator, computer, telephone and other equipment as needed.
• Must have a High School Diploma/GED equivalent OR work experience equivalent.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be able to multitask.
• Must be able to clean store and parking lot.
• Must be able to stock shelves and coolers, including the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to complete Sales Associate Training program.
• Must be able to tolerate exposure to gasoline fumes and cleaning products.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule of nights, days, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Leading, managing, and motivating your team to effectively run the store, while providing top notch customer service and completing daily tasks.
• Supporting the Store Leader and being Store Leader back up.
• Managing shelves, coolers, and inventory control.
• Operating registers.
• Daily bookkeeping.
• Maintaining overall appearance and cleanliness of the store.
• Following and enforcing company policies.
