The Harford County Office of the State's Attorney in Bel Air, MD is seeking an entry-level Assistant State's Attorney I for a full-time role. You will help investigate, prepare, and prosecute criminal cases in the District Court, under the supervision of the State's Attorney.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Screening and preparing cases for trial in the District Court of Maryland for Harford County.
• Litigating those cases and handling pre-trial motions hearings, bail review hearings, and post-verdict hearings.
• Contacting, interviewing, and preparing victims and witnesses for all court appearances.
• Drafting pleadings related to the prosecution of cases.
