This position is for an assistant staff analyst who will serve in the role of program coordinator for the Safe Harbor Trauma Recovery Center (TRC) at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. They will assist in research and analysis to make recommendations regarding the use and deployment of resources and the implementation and refinement of operations and programs within the Trauma Recovery Center.
This position is distinguished by their responsibility for organizing and carrying out their assignments with relative independence, but under the supervision of the program administrative directors. The employee will analyze and make recommendations for the effective use of resources and personnel, the implementation and improvement of programs and operations, and the refinement of management practices and policies having program-wide impact. Positions in this class also perform special assignments and projects, as directed.
Three years of experience in a staff capacity analyzing and making recommendations for the solution of problems of organization, program, procedure, budget or personnel - OR - Two years of highly responsible administrative or staff experience - OR - One year of responsible staff experience in health care or community or social service operations, - OR - Working in a program that provides housing and support services to clients who are homeless or are at risk for homelessness; - OR – Making recommendations for the design and/or implementation or evaluation of programs related to health and human services for high-risk populations (e.g. homeless, justice-involved, mentally ill, substance use disorder or medically complex).
