Job summary

Dartmouth College seeks an Assistant Coach for Men’s and Women’s Squash. You will assist the head coach with practice planning, coaching, recruiting, and program administration within NCAA and Ivy League standards.

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, and prior squash coaching/playing experience at HS, club, or college level. Onsite position; 40 hours/week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience coaching or playing squash at high school, club, or collegiate level.
• Strong knowledge of competitive squash training programs, skills and strategies.

Responsibilities

• Contributes to planning and implementing conditioning and coaching programs for the squash teams.
• Assists head coach in conducting practices, training, conditioning and competitions.
• Prepares scouting reports and game plans for opponents.
• Recruits prospects; maintains recruiting records and collaborates with admissions.
• Plans and reconciles recruiting and team travel expenses; coordinates schedules.
• Promotes Dartmouth and the squash program through camps and community involvement.
• Represents Dartmouth Athletics in a professional manner.
