Job Title: Assistant Softball Coach
Summary of Position: The Assistant Softball Coach must be committed to the Lordship of Christ, actively practicing spiritual disciplines, and cultivating a ministry mindset toward student‑athletes. The primary responsibility is to lead recruiting for the IWU Softball program, building relationships with high‑school and club programs in Indiana and surrounding states and developing a recruitment plan aligned with the team’s goals. The coach will also provide expertise in player development, instructing in a specialty area, and coordinate scheduling, travel, and event management. Frequent verbal, written, and electronic communication with stakeholders is required. The coaching philosophy embraces the “Both/And” mentality, pursuing athletic excellence and discipleship simultaneously.
