Overview

Basalt High School is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Assistant Softball Coach. This role is an integral part of our coaching staff, focusing on developing skills and overall performance while fostering a supportive and competitive team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in organizing and managing team practices, games, and events.
• Provide real-time feedback during practices and games to optimize performance.
• Collaborate with the head coach to align pitching development with overall team goals.
• Encourage sportsmanship, teamwork, and a positive team culture.
• Ensure compliance with school and state athletic regulations.

Minimum Qualifications

• Prior experience as a softball coach (minimum of 2 years) or player (minimum of 4 years).
