BachToRock is seeking an Assistant Site Director- Music Education to support the Site Director in daily school operations in Leawood, KS. The role emphasizes leadership, scheduling, enrollment, and customer care in a dynamic music education environment.

The successful candidate enjoys working with children, has strong organizational skills, and can manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced retail education setting. Local compensation is based on education and experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
• Business management or retail sales experience preferred but not required.
• Strong computer literacy and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Run day-to-day music education operations of the school.
• Supervise arrival and departure of students and support instructors.
• Maintain schedules for classes, staff and students.
• Handle enrollment, scheduling, retail sales and billing adjustments.
• Assist with inventory control and ensure facility cleanliness.
• Open/close the school with other management.
• Provide exceptional customer service to greet and inform customers.
• Explain BachToRock philosophy to prospective customers and tours.
• Support student recruitment and retention of lessons, bands, camps.

We are looking for an Assistant Site Director- Music Educationto support the Site Director in the daily operations and responsibilities of the school. We are looking for someone with the following characteristics:

Responsibilities:

• Run the day-to-day music education operations of the school:
  • Supervise arrival and departure of students
  • Provide support to instructors as needed for teaching activities.
  • Maintain complex schedules of classes, staff, and students.
  • Administer daily enrollment, scheduling, retail sales and billing adjustments
  • Assist with inventory control to ensure appropriate stock levels
  • Ensure cleanliness of facility.
  • Responsible for timely opening and closing of the school, in conjunction with other management
• Provide exceptional customer service:
  • Greet customers and students in a personable and courteous manner.
  • Proactively communicate operational information with customers.
  • Foster a positive environment where people feel welcome, acknowledged, appreciated and want to ‘hang out’.
• Support the expansion of the Music Education Business:
  • Warmly greet prospective customers on the phone and in person.
  • Give facility tours
  • Explain the BachToRock philosophy and method to prospective customers.
  • Stay up to date on the continually updated B2R curriculum
  • Follow up with prospective customers in person and over the phone.
  • Support external marketing events
  • Assist with student recruitment and retention of private lessons, bands, classes, and camps.
• Teach private lessons and group classes, as needed and approved by Site Director

Knowledge and Abilities:

• Computer literate (Microsoft Office).
• Can solve logistical challenges.
• Effective time-management and organizational skill
• Ability to juggle multiple responsibilities at one time
• Great attention to detail
• Ability to work in a very fast-paced environment
• Can work the hours required

Education/Work Experience:

• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
• Business management and/or retail sales experience is preferred but not required.
