Job summary

Tonal is seeking an Assistant Showroom Manager to support our Perimeter Mall showroom in Atlanta. You will lead the sales floor, manage scheduling and merchandising, and partner with the Showroom Manager to drive sales targets while delivering exceptional client experiences.

You are a strong communicator with 2+ years in retail or related sales leadership, capable of mentoring team members, and comfortable with evenings, weekends, and holidays. Prior Salesforce familiarity is a plus.

Overview

Tonal is looking for an Assistant Showroom Manager to support our Showroom at Perimeter Mall. In this role, you will be critical in executing our retail strategy in partnership with the Showroom Manager. You’ll be leading the sales floor, and working closely with various departments to provide an exceptional client experience. This role reports to the Showroom Manager. What You Will Do

• Develop a strong knowledge of Tonal’s product and brand image to deliver a consistent client experience.
• Support the Showroom Manager in driving store operations, including scheduling, sales goals, merchandising, stocking, and store upkeep.
• Partner with the Showroom Manager to plan and achieve sales targets by utilizing company tools, tracking labor hours, and managing expenses.
• Assist with scheduling and hours management to ensure appropriate floor coverage and labor efficiency.
• Support the team in creating exceptional client experiences by developing personalized demos and building lasting client relationships.
• Model and encourage a sales-driven culture by holding yourself and the team accountable for client follow-ups and moving leads through the sales process.
• Assist with client outreach via phone and email, using Tonal’s CRM system (Salesforce) to track communications and progress.
• Help train, coach, and mentor team members to support their growth and development.
• Partner with the Showroom Manager in recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding new team members.
• Support execution of local marketing initiatives, community events, and partnerships that drive awareness of the Tonal brand.
• Assist with ensuring all company guidelines and standard operating procedures are followed, including opening and closing routines.
• Serve as a key resource for day-to-day problem solving and accelerate issues to the Showroom Manager when needed.
• Maintain an understanding of the competitive landscape in the market and share insights with leadership.
• Support inventory processes, including receiving, unpacking, and stocking product (boxes can weigh 5-30 lbs).

Who You Are

• 2+ years of sales management experience in retail, fitness, service, or hospitality industries preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills. You’re invigorated by interaction with clients, whether groups or individuals. You are approachable, a good listener, and an enthusiastic brand representative
• You’re passionate about driving for results.
• You’re flexible and have the ability to adapt quickly and react positively to business needs and changes in strategies.
• You’re organized especially with time management, and you follow through on next steps.
• You’re experienced in understanding sales reports and identifying business trends.
• Open to working a standard retail schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Applicants are a minimum of 18 years of age.
• Physical Requirements:
• Requires bending, stooping, reaching up, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to walk for extended periods of time.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
• Ability to perform routine tasks for extended periods of time.
• Ability to look at a computer screen for extended periods of time.
• Use of hands and/or arms, while performing client demos.

Extra Credit

• Luxury or high-end product sales experience
• Proficiency with Apple Products, Google Suite, and Salesforce is a plus
