Amentum is seeking an Assistant Security Officer (CAC/SMS) for our Springfield, VA location. The role supports compliance with DoD and customer security requirements and involves coordinating with Contractors and Government agencies on clearance matters.

The schedule is Monday through Friday with occasional evening hours. The candidate will perform CAC duties, use JPAS/DISS and other security systems, maintain documentation, and assist the Facility Security Officer to ensure DoD clearance

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Business Administration or Security required or 2 extra years of IC security experience in lieu of degree.
• Active TS/SCI clearance is required.
• US citizenship is required.
• Must be able to acquire access to DoD security systems (JPAS, DISS, DEERS, etc.).

Responsabilités

• Perform CAC duties and rotate to Briefing, Clearance Passing, and Front Desk areas as needed.
• Coordinate with the Facility Security Officer to ensure DoD clearance requirements are met.
• Prepare and submit security reports and maintain accurate records in the security systems.
• Communicate effectively with Contractors and Government agencies regarding security matters.
• Maintain knowledge of DoD and NGA security policies and procedures.
