Job summary

Schnucks is seeking an Assistant Deli Manager to support the Department Manager and lead deli operations in Webster Groves. You will supervise staff, ensure safety, handle orders, and deliver friendly customer service while maintaining standards.

Flexibility to work weekends and long hours, 40 hours/week, with daytime to evening shifts. Experience of at least six months in a related role is required, with opportunities for growth within a family-oriented company.

Job Description Job Description The Assistant Deli Manager will perform all the duties and job functions of an experienced clerk. Must have the ability to solve practical problems and interpret instructions. The Assistant Manager will assume the responsibility of the Department Manager in their absence.

Additional Requirements – Internal Candidates

Store/Facility Teammates: minimum of six months employment with Schnucks preferred. Store Support Center Teammates: minimum of one year employment with Schnucks preferred. Must be in good standing (not on a performance improvement plan or active discipline). If invited for an interview, must have manager approval based on performance.
