Job summary

Silver Eagle Beverages in San Antonio, TX is seeking an Entry-Level Route Sales position focused on delivering and merchandising beverages. You will pull routes, stock accounts, and implement merchandising standards to maximize sales and visibility.

This role requires a High School diploma, two years of beverage DSD experience, a valid Texas Class C license, and the ability to obtain a CDL. A personal vehicle and insurance are required to perform deliveries and maintain routes daily.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Two years beverage experience (Direct Store Delivery) preferred.
• Valid Texas Class C Driver’s license required; CDL may be required.
• Must have a dependable personal vehicle and liability insurance.

Responsibilities

• Uses sales tools and training to take adequate inventory in order to make proper recommendations of each account’s product needs and to maintain properly stocked inventory levels.
• Uses SEBev training to close sales solicitation of displays, new products and packages, draught placements, shelf facings, POS, and price points.
• Follows and enforces Anheuser Busch equity agreement and other supplier contract Code Date policies.
• Follows corporate Sales and Merchandising Standards guidelines to ensure the merchandising of all corporate products including restocking to avoid out-of-stock, making minor legal space adjustments, building displays, installing, placing and providing P.O.S. and pricing product as allowed by retailers.
• Provides effective communication with all Sales personnel to ensure closure of sales, maintaining good customer relations and a decisive competitive edge in order to maximize sales.
• Notifies Area Sales Manager of all pertinent changes in the retail trade to include: file maintenance, license updates, route scheduling, competitive activity, and other requirements required by management.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Two years of previous beverage experience (Direct Store Delivery)
• Previous experience working with mobility/M360
• Good communication skills
• Valid Texas Class C Driver’s license
• Able to obtain and maintain a class A-CDL.
• Must have dependable personal vehicle to perform assigned work for Silver Eagle with proof of liability insurance.
• Driving record within MVR policy guidelines. - No license revocation, suspension, DUI/DWI, careless or reckless driving.
• Mechanically inclined, able to follow verbal and written instruction.
• Must be able to lift, push, pull, and/or carry an average of 35 lbs. consistently throughout the day.
• Must handle alcohol and work within T.A.B.C Guidelines.
