Are you passionate about supporting others to achieve their highest level of performance when assisting customers in a fast-paced retail environment? Are you a role model and leader that advocates for your sales team? As a Stanton Optical Assistant Sales Manager, you would be a sales leader, assisting the Sales Manager and Brand Manager in executing action plans to drive sales performance within a team environment. Our Assistant Sales Managers assist customers’ issues while maintaining a positive attitude to achieve highest quality customer satisfaction. As part of our team, you will be developed and empowered to take responsibilities of additional duties to prepare you for the next step in your career.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Drive sales to meet or exceed revenue goals while providing excellent customer service.
  • Support Sales Manager duties, often acting as Manager on Duty, including:
    • Training, coaching, and developing retail staff.
    • Analyzing reports to ensure staff goals are achieved.
    • Resolving customer issues to enhance satisfaction.
    • Implementing company standards and directives.
    • Performing additional duties as needed.
    • Executing simple customer repairs and ensuring timely delivery of eyewear.
    • Maintaining brand standards in the lab and reporting equipment issues.
    • Tracking delivery times to ensure 100% compliance.

Key Qualifications

  • At least one year of retail management experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in a secondary leadership role or managing small teams.
  • Proven sales performance in retail.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt to changing needs.
  • Effective communication skills with diverse groups.
