SharBert Enterprises in Bozeman, MT, seeks an energetic Assistant Retail Manager to lead airport retail teams and drive sales, coaching associates and upholding customer-focused standards for travelers at Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport.

This hands-on leadership role partners with the District Retail Manager and Team Leads to ensure smooth operations, strong merchandising, and a welcoming store experience across multiple locations. Strong leadership and retail experience are essential.

We're looking for an energetic, motivated Assistant Retail Manager to join our growing airport retail leadership team at beautiful Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport (BZN), the gateway to Yellowstone National Park and Big Sky Country.

For more than 30 years, SharBert Enterprises has been a Montana-rooted company creating memorable experiences through our retail, food and beverage, and specialty businesses.

As an Assistant Retail Manager, you'll work alongside our District Retail Manager, fellow Assistant Managers, and Team Leads to support daily operations across multiple airport retail locations. This is a hands-on leadership position where you'll coach associates, drive sales, solve problems, and help ensure our stores are ready to welcome travelers from around the world.

Our airport retail operations run from approximately 3:00 AM to midnight. This position requires scheduling flexibility, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on operational needs. Individual shifts will be scheduled within those operating hours.

What You'll Do

Lead & Develop Great Teams

• Lead by example, delivering exceptional customer service and demonstrating strong salesmanship.
• Coach, train, and motivate associates to build confidence, product knowledge, and sales skills.
• Support Team Leads and fellow managers in maintaining consistent operational standards.
• Foster a positive, accountable, and collaborative work environment.

Drive Sales & Store Performance

• Help achieve sales, profitability, and merchandising goals across airport retail locations.
• Identify creative opportunities to increase sales and improve the customer experience.
• Maintain attractive product displays, effective merchandising, and inviting store layouts.
• Support inventory accuracy, product replenishment, and loss prevention practices.

Keep Operations Running Smoothly

• Help oversee daily operations across multiple retail locations and varying shifts.
• Troubleshoot operational and technical issues, coordinating solutions with the appropriate teams.
• Maintain clean, organized, professional, and safe stores.
• Provide accurate information, timely communication, and constructive feedback to associates and leadership.
• Collaborate with the District Retail Manager and other leaders to maintain staffing coverage, operational efficiency, and company standards.
• Follow airport security procedures and company policies.

What We're Looking For

• Previous retail experience is required, preferably with supervisory, keyholder, or management responsibilities.

• Ability to meet applicable airport security and badging requirements.

Experience in high-volume retail, specialty gift stores, airport concessions, or multi-location operations is a plus.
