Job summary

Ability Beyond is seeking an Assistant Residential Program Manager in Bethel, CT to guide staff, support residents with daily activities, and ensure high-quality care in a mission-driven environment.

You will collaborate on individualized treatment plans, mentor Direct Care Professionals, and promote community engagement while serving as a hands-on leader who models professionalism and empathy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 2+ years of full-time related experience OR 2 years of college in a related field with 1 year of related experience.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a registered, insured vehicle.
• Ability to complete required certifications (Medication Administration, CPR, First Aid) within designated timeframes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with your team.
• Ensure a safe, supportive, and respectful environment for the individuals served.
• Provide direct assistance with daily living activities, including personal care and hygiene.
• Support household routines such as cooking, cleaning, laundry, and transportation.
• Maintain accurate financial records and safeguard personal belongings.
• Train and mentor Direct Care Professionals to deliver high-quality care.
• Promote meaningful community engagement through employment, recreation, and volunteer opportunities.
• Serve as a hands-on leader who models professionalism, positivity, and empathy.

Schedule: Guaranteed set schedules available including combinations of 1st (Day) and 2nd (Evening) shifts - weekend availability required.
