You’re not just maintaining quality.You’re building the skills to own it.What You’ll Be Doing (And Growing Into):Learn and master our quality standards, product specs, and inspection processes across cabinetry manufacturingPartner with production and finishing teams to identify defects, troubleshoot issues, and implement real-time solutionsAnalyze key quality metrics like defect rates, scrap, rework, and first-pass yield to uncover trends and drive improvementsSupport and improve SOPs, inspection processes, and quality documentation to strengthen consistencyAssist in root cause analysis and lead corrective actions that actually stickMonitor finishing quality (stain, paint, clear coat) and construction processes to ensure every product meets standardBuild dashboards and reports to communicate quality performance and influence decisionsRespond with urgency to production floor issues, because quality can’t waitHelp coach inspectors and production teams, developing the next generation of quality-focused employeesWhat We’re Looking For:5+ years of experience in cabinet or wood product manufacturingStrong knowledge of finishing processes (stain, paint, clear coat) and defect troubleshootingExperience with quality systems, root cause analysis, and corrective actionsA data-driven mindset, you don’t guess, you analyzeStrong problem-solving skills and a high sense of urgencyNatural leadership ability with the desire to grow into a Quality Manager roleBonus Points If You Have:Experience with industry standards like KCMAExperience with quality dashboards, reporting tools, or advanced spreadsheetsHands-on experience repairing minor cosmetic cabinet defectsAbout our CompanyAt Wisenbaker, we don’t just support the homebuilding industry, we help build it from the ground up.
