Job description

WinnCompanies is searching for an organized and service-centric Assistant Property Manager to join our team at Studio 3807 and Artisan 4100 Apartments. You will assist a total of 231 units in two residential communities located in Brentwood, MD.

In this role, you will support the Property Manager in managing all aspects of the community, including leasing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, service requests, and customer service.

The work schedule consists of: Monday through Friday, from 9:00AM to 6:00PM, and Saturdays, from 9:00AM to 4:00PM. Please note that the pay range for this position is $24.16 to $30.34 per hour, depending on experience.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor collections, post rent payments, enforce the collection policy, and initiate legal action when required.
  • Facilitate all aspects of apartment leasing: touring with prospective residents, processing applications, processing recertifications, and negotiating lease renewals.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, respond to resident issues and complaints in a timely manner, and promote positive resident relations.
  • Assist in all facets of physical and financial management as needed and assigned.
  • Act as Property Manager in absence of the Manager for specified amounts of time.
  • Prepare financial reports for the Property Manager, as well as resident correspondence and recertification notices.
  • Monitor the flow of accounts payable, from issuing purchase orders to processing invoices.
  • Act as Property Manager in their absence for a specified amounts of time.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.
  • A minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience.
  • Strong accounting skills are required.
  • Must have luxury property management experience.
  • Experience with various computer systems, including Microsoft Office.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Superb attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to be a self-motivated problem solver.
  • Willingness to learn and be trained.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced office environment.
  • Ability to work with a diverse group of people and personalities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate's degree.
  • Experience in residential property management, particularly as an Assistant Property Manager.
  • Experience with marketing and leasing.
  • Experience with Yardi or RealPage property management software.
