Job summary

Morgan Properties is seeking an Assistant Property Manager in New Jersey to support the Property Manager in daily operations. You will assist with leasing, collections, resident services, and maintenance oversight to uphold high standards and deliver excellent service to residents and staff.

The role emphasizes strong communication, organization, and teamwork, with a compensation package including benefits and a base pay range of $23.00–$27.00 per hour. Travel between properties may be required.

Qualifications

• Two to three years of related experience and/or training.
• Prior experience in property management or managerial experience in a sales/customer service role.
• Valid driver’s license, good driving record, and auto insurance may be required for traveling between properties.

Responsibilities

• Leasing, Collections, and Resident Services:
• Address delinquent accounts and initiate the eviction process, filing necessary documents and attending court hearings if required.
• Assist in following up on delinquencies and ensure timely collection of payments.
• Handle all activities related to apartment rentals, move‑ins, resident insurance, and lease renewals as needed.
• Assist in scheduling appointments for potential prospects and residents.
