Job summary

Bozzuto in Portland, OR is seeking an Assistant Property Manager to lead daily operations and deliver outstanding resident experiences. You will manage tours, coordinate maintenance, support budgeting and revenue objectives, and mentor a diverse team while upholding Bozzuto's standards.

This role requires a 4-year degree or equivalent, 2+ years in property management or related fields, and proficiency with YARDI and social media content creation.

Responsibilities

• Role model and leader, maintaining Bozzuto standards and culture
• Owns rent collection and delinquency management to meet financial objectives
• Conduct informative, personalized community tours to secure new leases
• Build brand loyalty through positive resident interactions
• Ensure impeccable interior/exterior of the community and professional Bozzuto branding
• Coach, mentor and inspire team members
• Work weekends as needed to engage prospective residents
• Step in to lead when the Property Manager is unavailable

Primary Responsibilities:

As an Assistant Property Manager (APM), your primary responsibilities include:

• Tuesday-Saturday 9am-6pm
• Leading by example, living the standards and behaviors consistent with the core values and culture of Bozzuto
• Achieving financial objectives through rent collection and by managing delinquency
• Sales and marketing to include conducting informative and personalized tours of the community which result in new leases
• Building brand loyalty by striving to ensure every resident interaction is positive
• Ensuring that the community's interior and exterior are impeccable and the team appropriately represents the Bozzuto brand with a crisp, professional appearance
• Coaching, mentoring and inspiring team members
• Working weekends when prospective residents are out looking for their new home
• Stepping in and taking responsibility for leading when the Property Manager is not present

What You Bring to Us:

• 4 year college degree or equivalent relevant experience
• 2+ years of experience in the property management, hospitality or retail industries
• Exposure to revenue, P&L and budget management
• Proficient in leveraging social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram, and a passion to create and deliver engaging and distinctive content
• Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
• Competentwith industry software (YARDI preferred), apps and computer programs
• Sales aptitude

This position is eligible for additional bonus opportunities.

Salary Range

$25-$27 USD
