Job summary

Willow Bridge Property Company in Chicago is seeking an Assistant Property Manager to support daily operations, lease administration, and resident relations. You will help drive occupancy and retention while coordinating maintenance and service requests to ensure high-quality living environments.

The role requires at least 1 year in leasing or property management, a high school diploma (Bachelor’s preferred), strong communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 1 year of related leasing or property management experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills and ability to motivate and lead a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
  • Able to multitask and meet deadlines in a timely and organized manner.
  • Flexible schedule, including weekends.
  • Must be able to tour the community, walking the property and climbing stairs.
  • Role may require a valid driver's license.
  • Role may require a state license or certification.

Responsibilities

  • Implement lease renewal and resident retention programs.
  • Manage resident relations, including calls, requests and concerns.
  • Analyze weekly leasing reports and forecast occupancy trends.
  • Assist with developing and tracking marketing strategies, including advertising and promotions.
  • Manage rent collections, late notices and posting rent.
  • Review and inspect vacancies, make-ready apartments and models.
  • Inspect the property for policy violations, needed repairs and landscaping.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the Assistant Property Manager are as follows:

  • Assist with accepting move out notices, service requests and resident transfers.
  • Responsible for implementing lease renewal and resident retention programs.
  • Manage resident relations issues, which includes taking resident phone calls, requests and concerns.
  • Analyze weekly leasing reports and forecast occupancy trends.
  • Assist with developing and tracking marketing strategies, including advertising, promotions and publications.
  • Manage rent collections, late notices and posting rent.
  • Review and inspect vacancies, make-ready apartments and models.
  • Inspect the property for community policy violations, needed repairs and overall landscaping.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Benefits

Typical base compensation range depending on experience: $26.00 to $28.00 per hour USD.
