Job summary

Tarantino Properties is seeking an Assistant Project Superintendent to manage a portfolio of properties in the Detroit/Ann Arbor, Michigan area. This role reports to the Regional Supervisor and supports construction and renovation initiatives across commercial and residential assets.

The position requires coordinating with vendors and teams, maintaining records, and ensuring project milestones and budgets are met. A strong understanding of multifamily renovation is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of work experience in the field or industry.
• Knowledge of Multifamily Renovation / Project Management.
• Must be able to travel within the designated region.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Bilingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Construction Manager on various types of projects, including construction & maintenance.
• Keep and maintain records of project proposals, contracts, status updates, invoices, receivables, & payables.
• Coordinate project efforts with vendors, contractors, and construction team to ensure that all deadlines and budgets are met.
• Assist in the procurement of project proposals and materials costs.
• Assist in the purchasing of materials and services.
• Walk project sites and assist in building the scope of work for requesting proposals.
• Oversee active projects and make site visits as needed.
• Create and maintain project status reports and update the construction team regularly.

Tarantino Properties is looking to add an Assistant Project Superintendent to oversee a portfolio of properties in the Detroit/Ann Arbor, Michigan area.

This position reports directly to the Regional Supervisor.
