GrayWolf is seeking an Assistant Project Manager in Dallas, Texas to support the Project Manager in executing construction projects. The ideal candidate will help manage documentation, track project costs, and ensure effective communication between stakeholders.
Responsibilities include managing project activities, maintaining schedules, and preparing reports. A HS Diploma or Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred, alongside 2–5 years of relevant experience.
The Assistant Project Manager supports the Project Manager in coordinating and executing construction projects. This role assists in maintaining schedules, managing documentation, tracking costs, and facilitating communication between project stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
HS Diploma or equivalent, or a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Construction Management, Structural/Civil Engineering, or Business may substitute for 3 years of required experience.
2–5 years related experience as a Project Coordinator/Engineer or Assistant Project Manager, along with 3 years of detailing/drafting experience. Experience as a fabricator or erector may substitute for detailing/drafting experience.
Demonstrated knowledge of the fabrication and erection of structural steel, ability to read and interpret shop and design blueprint drawings, and ability to manage large multiple commercial and industrial projects. General knowledge of 3D modeling / Tekla practices.
Personal computer, phone, and software including MS Windows 7, MS Office Word, Excel, Outlook; Contract Manager, Primavera Scheduling, Fabtrol, and Tekla system.
Position requires as many hours needed to fulfill daily and weekly obligations. Working long days, including evenings and weekends, may be required. Frequent out-of-state travel by air or road is expected, up to 25% travel time. A clean driving record, valid driver’s license, and proof of acceptable insurance are required. The position is generally indoors in a climate‑controlled office but requires frequent visits to outdoor plant facilities.
