Job summary

Interstates, based in Tulsa, Oklahoma, is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to work with field crews to keep projects on track and deliver quality work. You’ll assist the Project Manager, run project control, prepare CPM schedules, attend client meetings, and support procurement and subcontracts in a fast-paced environment.

• Bachelor's or associate's degree in Construction or related field required or preferred.
• Experience in project management support and coordination helpful.
• Strong communication and organizational skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager and jobsite leadership in managerial and leadership functions on the project
• Run project control systems for the benefit of the project team
• CPM schedule creation and updating/communicating
• Last Planner/White Board crew scheduling
• RFI's, submittals, meeting minutes, and other site communication
• Act as a project analyst; assess project controls information and assist jobsite leadership in problem solving and alternate methods to achieve project success
• Provide estimating take-offs and other support for analysis and change orders
• Attend client meetings onsite and collaborate with trade contractors
• Prepare information for, and participate in, monthly project reviews
• Assist in procurement and expediting of materials and subcontracts
• Promote the Interstates safety culture daily

Education: Bachelor's or associate's degree in Construction Engineering, Business Administration, Engineering technology or Construction Management

Compensation:

The base pay range for this position is $70,000-$80,000. Our salary ranges are determined by the experience and education required, and level of responsibility. The range posted for this role represents a range that Interstates, in good faith, believes it is willing to pay at the time of this posting. The pay is determined by job related skills, training, education, and experience.

Travel

This role is based out of our Tulsa, Oklahoma office with travel to customer and project sites up to 25% of the time. Most travel consists of regional day trips with very limited overnight travel anticipated.
