Role Description

We are seeking a talented design & construction industry professional to join our Project Management / Owners Representation team. The Assistant Project Manager will assist the Project Managers in representing various project owners on construction projects and assignments.

Responsibilities
  • Supporting project team on large complex projects and assignments.
  • Proactively managing project-related issues.
  • Assisting in developing scope, budget and schedule for assigned projects.
  • Participating in and documenting all weekly meetings.
  • Assisting in coordinating and tracking RFP’s; maintaining accurate and consistent electronic files and documentation.
  • Assisting in coordination of activities of sub-consultants.
  • Preparing/updating project status reports, processing purchase orders and invoices, updating tracking reports and maintaining files for due diligence and financials.
  • Assisting in providing all deliverables per Kramer agreements with clients.
  • Ability to prepare and track budgets.
  • Understanding of technical requirements for a business relocation.
  • Familiarity with architectural drawings and furniture and space planning concepts.
  • Flexibility with work hours and travel as needed.
  • Highly organized with strong analytical skills and the ability to identify and manage priorities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Ability to multi-task and work both in a team and independently.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Project.

Successful applicants will have an Associates or Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 1-5 years practical experience in project administration. They will also be able to demonstrate experience in organizing and managing a range of building construction projects from beginning to end. Knowledge of ProjectTeam, P6, Adobe Acrobat Professional, Timberline, AutoCad and RS Means preferred.
