Qualifications

• Deep understanding of the fabricating and erecting process of miscellaneous metals.
• Experience coordinating and supervising subcontracted vendors.
• Strong reading of specifications and blueprints to determine material requirements.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software to create schedules, track progress and manage budgets.

As an Assistant Project Manager, you will have the opportunity to oversee the successful completion of various misc. metals projects from start to finish. Day to day as an Assistant Project Manager

In this role, you will work closely with the Detailing Manager to prepare and manage steel detailing and surveying of shop/fabrication drawings. You'll also have the opportunity to collaborate with subcontractors and vendors of other trades, ensuring the smooth progress of assigned projects. But what sets this position apart is the chance to be involved in every aspect of the project, from preparing and negotiating change orders to maintaining "As Built" drawings.

You’ll have the opportunity to create and establish schedules, coordinate with contractors and trades, and maintain positive client relationships. Your exceptional attention to detail will shine as you read specifications and blueprints to determine material requirements and communicate and coordinate effectively with all parties involved.
