Job summary

Michels Pipeline, Inc. is seeking an Associate Project Manager to support project planning, organization, and the implementation of project management principles across ongoing pipeline projects.

You will collaborate with internal stakeholders to meet deadlines, track progress, and help ensure safety and quality across sites. Strong communication and willingness to travel for extended on-site projects are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in PM, CM, Engineering, or related field.
• 0–3 years of related experience or equivalent.
• Foundational knowledge of project/construction management.
• Experience with Primavera and MS Office is preferred.
• Willingness to travel for extended on-site projects.

As an Associate Project Manager, your key responsibilities will be to support project planning and organization, implement project management principles, and collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders to meet deadlines and business needs.

What it takes?

• Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field, 0-3 years of related experience, or equivalent combination
• Foundational knowledge of project management and construction management principles
• Training in safety, health, and environmental policies and procedures
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Primavera (preferred)
• Ability to support project controls including cost tracking, labor tracking, scheduling, budgeting, documentation, reporting, and basic financial metrics analysis
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and internal teams.
• Ability to travel for extended durations, commit to long-term onsite projects, and work in outdoor environments
