Job summary

Prime Controls is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support project managers on industrial automation and control projects. You will coordinate submittals, staffing, resources, change orders, and project tracking, ensuring documentation is complete and within budget.

This role includes travel to Utah for ongoing project completion and requires strong teamwork and communication. Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in related fields and 3 years of architecture, pre-construction, or

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, construction management, project management, engineering, or related field.
• 3 years full-time architecture, pre-construction, construction, or related fields.
• Comprehensive understanding of Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to apply technological solutions to planning or implementation of assignments.
• Preferred: experience with estimating and scheduling tools, CAD/BIM, Procore, Bluebeam, and related software.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing project proposals by determining time frames, costs, procedures, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources.
• Coordinate submittals, manpower, resources, and change orders for projects.
• Maintain project documentation and update change orders to track budget and profitability.
• Serve as liaison across departments to support day-to-day project operations.
• Prepare project reports for management, contractors, customers, and engineering firms.
• Conduct project review meetings and manage documentation control.
• Utilize customer portals (e.g., Procore) for project documentation.
